    Hi everyone!

Could anyone clarify what's the difference between Customs entry and Customs declaration, if any?

    Thanks in advance!

    Default Different meaning

Hi there! Custom's entry refers to the "partida" from a code system with a number of digits which identify the categories of products/services and that are necessary to fill out a custom's declaration form whenever you import/export those items. Hope it helps!

With all due respect, gentle, a Customs Entry is defined as “A statement of the kinds, quantities and values of goods imported together with duties, if any, that is declared before customs authorities”. This is just a part of the custom clearance process. Based on this definition Customs entry and custom declaration would be basically the same thing

What gentle described is known as a Schedule of Customs Duties

    Hope it heldps

    Regards

    Default Apologies

Thank you Hebe! I always had in mind that it reflected the Product Categories or Codes from the Tariff Schedule. But you are right! The Spanish language has provided a more specific term for those categories than the English language. Thanks again!
