    Default Inmovilizado :-)

    Hi folks,

I'm working on a financial translation (English is the target language), and I'm having trouble with the Spanish word "inmovilizado" (it's a heading for a chart), also "inmovilizado inmaterial", and "inmovilizado material". Anyone have any ideas??

    What about "tangible/intangible fixed assets"?

No, tangible and intangible are the same in English and Spanish,

"Inmovilizado" is something else, but thanks for suggesting !

    Default Based On Definition Found

Hi walkabout. Based on the definition I found in the Web I am inclined to agree with Sara: (tangible /intanngible fixed asses). At first I thought of “inmovilizados” as “bienes inmueble" (real property). But the definition of fixed assets covers that category. As you know each country has a particular way to name certain items of the Balance Sheet. In any case here is the definition of Inmovilizados I found, hope it helps.

    1. DEFINICIÓN DE INMOVILIZADO.
Comprende los elementos del patrimonio destinados a servir de forma duradera
en la actividad de la empresa.

Truly, my dear young friends, you are a chosen generation. I hope you will never forget it.
