In Santa Barbara, California, students who come from out of town to attend one of the three colleges and subsequently act like idiots and have no respect for the beautiful surroundings or the local people are called stus. Has anyone heard any other terms to describe unwanted student populations, in English or Spanish?

i have never heard that. I went to UMASS Amherst and im sure there was a terrible name for us there with the 5 universities invading every winter....but im not sure what....

Hmm... I haven't ever heard that either. Where does "stus" come from? Is it short for something?
