Since I've been a part of this forum I have encountered many rules of language both in Spanish and English were time is a factor of grammar.

It started when sounds were first applied to sign language. "uhh" for "here"; "uhh uhh" for "over there":p

I commented this to my cousin last night and i got this "the need Language comes from avoiding conflict" coincidently "the need for grammar comes to avoid conflict"
