Hi armandoyaa, welcome to the forum. Where are you from? What languages do you speak?
I agree with matiasc, but if the context allows so, you could try:

I am looking forward to becoming part of your workgroup

    Hello nabylm!

I'm from Barcelona, i natively speak catalan and spanish and a little bit of portugues and italian (are so similar with the catalan and spanish, not a big deal). I've studied english in an academy for many years. My speaking english is not bad (i would say that is high compared with the spanish average), i can mantain a decent conversation with anyone speaking english about anything. My biggest problem is that sometimes i get stuck with some sentences and i make some mistakes. Even tough, i keep studiying it, so luckily someday i'll become as good as you

The funniest part is that while i was small i got obligated to study all this languages, and i really hated that. I was by far the worst in my class with the english. But the life takes many turns, and when i was a teenager i rediscovered the english, while my classmates didn't and got stuck with the same level. And nowadays my english level is in that moment when i feel that i am really improving my vocabulary, the pronounciation, the writting. I am quite optimistic. I just ReRediscovered english again.

Thank you and i hope that this message works as a presentation!

Entonces Benvingut! Indeed, very unusual path you followed.... pero mejor tarde que nunca, y como siempre, cuando algo te gusta, le pones más ganas. What kind of studies did you do?
