The only Australian movies that I can think of are "Rabbit Proof Fence" and "Chopper". I enjoyed both of them.

One place you can also check, depending on the parameters of your project, would be "Lost". There is an Australian character and a British character who...well, I can't reveal too much information here.

Thank you very much for your help. I found also films: CANDY and ROMPER STOMPER. I heard about LANTANA, but I am not able to gain this film. I saw these films yeasterday, but I did not find anything "australian", because it is hard to compare it for me.

Interestingly enough, if I'm not mistaken, the first Mad Max was Australian, wasn't it?

PS: The main character of "Chopper" was played by Eric Bana! I was amazed when I saw it again after knowing who he was.

Don't forget these two gems:

Muriel's Wedding
Priscilla Queen of Desert
or
Any movie with Olivia Newton-John in it

Scott is right about this character from Lost. I love Claire's accent by the way.

How about Whale rider? It's a beautiful movie, even for those who don't have to do research

Hi Verónica, that was a beautiful film but I'm 100% sure that was from New Zealand. The actress was incredible!

The first Crocadile Dundee movie had a lot of Aussie dialog. Just as another option.

I watched another one the other day. "Introducing the Dwights". A typical Australian comedy with a little bit of drama.
