Default MS Word files with TagEditor ??

Hi everyone!!
I have a question for you: How can you create a .ttx file out of a .doc file?
I thought you could just translate a .doc file with workbench and the trados tool bar in MS Word, but I have received a .doc.ttx file to translate with TagEditor. Now, I can´t save it as target or clean it up. Do I need the original .doc file to do it?
Thanks!

Wink

That is correct, you need to have the source word document in the same folder and with the same name that the translated .ttx has.
Cheers!

Thanks! That´s what I thought.
But how do you get to that .doc.ttx file extension?
