Default tag editor

Hi All!
I'm having problems with Tag editor again!!! It's a bit difficult to explain so I'm sorry if this doesn't make any sense.

I am working with several files and most of them are very similar in content but not in format. When I try to apply the translation in the TM from previous translations, the tags from the old version appear and I have to fix them manually.
There are a lot of files and a lot of segments with the same information but different tags so it is really taking me a long time to fix every tag. Do you know if there is any way to get the old translation from the TM but keep the new tags??

As far as I know TagEditor is going to display the latest version...

That would be a freat feature, but I don't think it has it.
I'll try to find that out and let you know.
