Default OLE/COM error

Has anyone got this error while trying to analyse or clean up a file??

I tried by changing the file extension into .rtf and by splitting the file but nothing happened!

I've had this error tons of times.
What's worked best for me is to remove all images and re analyze.

Does anyone know a better solution? Happy to hear it!

Yes, that's a good one when your analysing the file.
If I have to clean it up, I run the Macro from Word.

Well, I got this error when analyzing a file. That's worse because there is no macro to analyze it. I tried Verónica's solution but didn't work. Then I tried copying the whole file in a new document without format...didn't work. Now I've thought of a solution that might work (to analyze it), and that is what if we make a ttx file in Trados 2007 and analyze the ttx file? How does that sound to you?

Mmmmm... that might work, Andrea, since the problem seems to be associated with Word (rtf format).
