I know Trados has a feature where you can feed all text that has to be respected as it is in the source. Either segments or words (like company names, etc.) can be fed and they will always be respected while translating. I am going to look for it and will get back to you soon.

Hi there! I am back and although I have not tested it myself I�ve been told that you can create "profiles" with the QA Checker feature where you can feed all text that you want to keep untouched while translating. I sure need to explore it a bit more!
