Hi everyone!
I'm learning to use Transit and I have a few doubts after using the tutorial. Do you know if Transit Satellite PE has limited memory capacity? I know that the .pxf files should be sent by the project manager, but in the meantime where can I get .pxf files to practice? Thanks, Andrea |

Hey, since you are learning, is it like Trados? What can you translate with it? Do you recommend it?
Tell us a bit about the program ![]() ![]()

Well, although it does use a TM, it does not work so much like TRADOS. There are many differences, but in short, you need to have a preconverted file to work with, there are four small screens that are displayed permanently, and all 100% matches are pretranslated before you start working on the file.
Anyway, you can start a whole new topic to deal with Trados and Transit differences. Last edited by andreap : 07-15-2008 at 07:12 AM. |

Hi Andrea,
I'm learning to use it too. I don't think it has a limited memory capacity, at least it's not said in the tutorial. You may want to practice with the pxf files included in the tutorial, they should be located in the Transit folder Projects. Hope it helps. ![]() |
