Hi everyone!
I'm learning to use Transit and I have a few doubts after using the tutorial. Do you know if Transit Satellite PE has limited memory capacity? I know that the .pxf files should be sent by the project manager, but in the meantime where can I get .pxf files to practice? Thanks, Andrea |

Hey, since you are learning, is it like Trados? What can you translate with it? Do you recommend it?
Tell us a bit about the program ![]() ![]()

Well, although it does use a TM, it does not work so much like TRADOS. There are many differences, but in short, you need to have a preconverted file to work with, there are four small screens that are displayed permanently, and all 100% matches are pretranslated before you start working on the file.
Anyway, you can start a whole new topic to deal with Trados and Transit differences. Last edited by andreap : 07-15-2008 at 06:12 AM. |
