In Spain nobody says "la pasé bien", but I don't think it is incorrect. Simply is another way of say that.
In Spain we usually says "lo pasé bien". ie:
- ¿Qué tal lo has pasado?
- Lo pasé bien.
Nevertheless, if you ask someone "¿Qué tal pasaste la tarde?", the one you asked will answer you "la pasé bien".
So it depends on the context.
