Hi - just popped up to ask a (probably very basic and simple for you!) question.
I work with some Portuguese children in school and I would like to mark some of their work with Portuguese AND English comments.
I am TOTALLY hopeless with languages (brain just isn't wired in that way - I do try but my memory is terrible and they all snigger at my pronounciation!!)....have asked a Portuguese speaker to translate a few words/phrases for me, and have looked at on line translation sites but they have both come back with completely different looking translations.....so a bit stuck!
Anyone give me a few basic marking phrases?
Along the line of;
Well Done
Good Work
Great effort
Excellent
You have worked very hard today/you have worked well today/I am pleased with your work
...Plus any others you may think of/are commonly used in Portugal.
Thanks!
Sarah.
