Re: Hablando más que dos idiomas
Caro Sepahunt22,
hablo cinco idiomas : neerlandés – francés – inglés – alemán – español.
entiendo que su lengua materna es inglés,
y por eso voy a continuar
in English ...
The languages that you mention : Russian, Arab and Greek,
seem extra difficult because they have a different alphabet to begin with.
My wife studied Greek and found it one of the hardest languages ever.
When you get to master a language to a certain degree,
that’s when you realize how much more there is still left to learn.
Learning languages never stops.
One of the best ways is to go and live/work there (if possible on your own or in a native family).
I don’t believe in “fast” learning, it took me years and years,
and as said before, I’m still learning...
All the best !
Frank.
