Confirmed! Thank you all for your contributions! An additional comment: you need to open the PPTX (from Office 2007) with Tag Editor 2007 from Trados updated with Service Pack 2. To make this Service Pack work it΄s better to uninstall Trados and reinstall it along with the Service Pack, otherwise you run the risk that not all features become updated.
PS: ElVizconde's alternative with HTML or RTF is an interesting one! I promise to explore it too!
