My point of view is that Chomsky was talking about semantics and not about syntaxis. All human beings have the potential to create verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc. to name actions, objects, animals, characteristics... no matter the order.
On the other hand, Chomsky rejected his own theory because one of the weaknesses was that: he created an explanation taking into account only English.
I haven't read Chomsky in the last five years and maybe I'm wrong. What do your friends think about my ideas? Could you ask them?
