La segunda parte fue más de lo mismo, ocasiones y posesión para los dos equipos. Sin embargo, Miller Jaimie rompió esta igualdad con un bonito gol quedandose solo contra el portero después de irse de su defensor. En los últimos minutos Grecia intentó conseguir el empate y a punto estuvo en el minuto 88 de conseguirlo pero Steward Edwardo despejó el chute de Stratos Saliarelis, con lo que el partido acabó con victoria para Inglaterra por 1-0.
