Jajaja! That's funny too but not the context of the joke as I see it.
But this is the trouble with translating jokes. To me the blond is showing her complete stupidity by saying that SHE almost got caught, as if her leaving work was worse than her boss sleeping with her husband.
Any other woman would have been infuriated that her boss was in her house with her husband but she was more worried that she would be in trouble for leaving work early!!!
Oh well, jokes are sort of like paintings. Not everyone sees them the same way.
