I think this song makes a lot of sense.
This verse is talking about dru* abuse. The silver spoon represents the "heating" or boiling the dru* ,I wonder which word they use.
Now she sucks her thumb, because she has gone back to childhood as her mind and brains have been dried out by drugs and she has a lot of "lagoons", memory lagoons, all due to doing drugs.
Of course, this can all be just my imagination...
