I'm hoping to gain some help with my (very limited!) Spanish. My fiance is a native Spanish speaker and learned English through friends and television and I am trying to learn the same way, as I have many Spanish speaking friends. However, it seems to be difficult teaching an old dog new tricks.

hi, sister3, and welcome to the forum. as you know, this is mostly a translators' space, so if you need help with some translation, you are definitely in the right place, and we'll be happy to help... however, if you just need advice or suggestions as to ways to improve your Spanish, I'm sure there will be some non-Spanish speakers/Spanish learners in the forum with ideas, hints and all... good luck!

keep posting and keep us posted.
