hi kristine,
be careful! we don't say "marcado por vida", that doesn't mean anything. it's either "de por vida" or "para toda la vida", as sandraT first wrote. both expressions mean the same. also notice the o/a options, and bear that in mind if you refer to either male or female (even more, you would need "marcados/as" if the marked are more than one...)
