Thanks, Gentle, for the advise. You are right. I guess I'm just not sure whether the return on investment is there.
I have a little English language website with about 160 pages full of vacation ideas. It makes me about $600/month from Google and other Pay Per Click ads on the pages. When I found out that Google could put Spanish language ads on Spanish language websites, I started thinking that maybe I should have my site translated.
But a professional translation website quoted me ~$12,000.
I can't possibly afford that.
On the other hand, I am well aware of the growing use and poularity of the Spanish language here in the U.S. I just can't help thinking that I am missing out on a opportunity. But I have no ties to the Spanish community and I really do not have a good concept of the potential demand for my content in Spanish.
It is very difficult for me to justify a $12,000 expense, even if I could afford it.
Anyway, thanks for listening and commenting. I'll keep thinking about it and look for a solution.
