With all due respect, gentle, a Customs Entry is defined as “A statement of the kinds, quantities and values of goods imported together with duties, if any, that is declared before customs authorities”. This is just a part of the custom clearance process. Based on this definition Customs entry and custom declaration would be basically the same thing

What gentle described is known as a Schedule of Customs Duties
